OFFICIAL RULES: RIVER VALLEY FORD $10,000 GIVEAWAY

1. CONTEST PERIOD The "River Valley Ford $10,000 Giveaway" (the "Contest") begins on August 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM PDT and ends on August 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM PDT (the "Contest Period").

2. ELIGIBILITY The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia who have reached the age of majority (19) at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, and agents of River Valley Ford (the "Sponsor"), their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, and spouses), and those living in the same household are not eligible to enter. Must hold a valid British Columbia driver's license to participate in the test drive entry method.

3. HOW TO ENTER There are two (2) ways to enter. Limit of one (1) entry per individual regardless of the method of entry.

  • Method A (With Purchase): Upon the purchase or lease of a new or pre-owned vehicle from River Valley Ford during the Contest Period, the purchaser will automatically receive one (1) entry into the draw. The bill of sale must be signed and dated between August 12, 2026, and September 30, 2026 (before 5:00 PM PDT).

  • Method B (No Purchase Necessary): To enter without purchase, an eligible individual must visit River Valley Ford and complete a qualified test drive of a new or pre-owned vehicle during the Contest Period. A "qualified test drive" requires presenting a valid BC driver's license and meeting dealership test drive requirements. Following the test drive, the entrant must fill out and submit an official Contest entry form provided by the dealership.

  • Method B Deadline: All test drives and subsequent entry forms must be completed and submitted at the dealership by 5:00 PM PDT on August 31, 2026.

  • Limit: One (1) entry per person, regardless of entry method.

4. PRIZE There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won, consisting of a cheque in the amount of $10,000.00 CAD. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable.

5. ODDS OF WINNING The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. There is a strict limit of one (1) entry per individual.

6. DRAW DETAILS On September 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM PDT at River Valley Ford (32040 Lougheed Highway, Mission, BC, V2V 1A4), one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received.

7. WINNER CONFIRMATION To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must:

  • Be present at the draw OR be reached by telephone within three (3) business days of the draw.

  • Correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question (Example: 20 + 10 x 4 - 5 = ?).

  • Sign the Sponsor’s Declaration of Compliance and Release form.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS This contest is conducted in accordance with the federal Competition Act and British Columbia’s Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Contest should fraud or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupt the administration of the Contest. By entering, participants release River Valley Ford from any liability regarding the prize or participation in the Contest.
